literary christmas wishlist.

December 14, 2010

listening to led zeppelin.

(if you know me, you know that i eschew the beatles in favour of the true biggest band in the world – my heart belongs to leddy. the newest obsession is when the levee breaks. “all last night i sat on the levee and moaned” – great line.)

it is christmas time. if you know me, you know that my family is kind of lovely when it comes to christmas traditions and stockings and decorations and all that.

well, this will be a quick post. i was thinking of my literary christmas wishlist. and it goes like this:

– elizabeth bachinsky’s god of missed connections

– david wojnarowicz’s seventy miles a second

– david wojnarowicz’s in the shadow of the american dream

– geoff maccormack’s station to station (a 300 pound – as in money – book with maccormack’s unpublished bowie photographs. yes please!)

– anything by william faulkner

– jenna jameson’s how to make love like a porn star.

– calvin and hobbes

this.

– also THIS.

happy holidays. rock and roll can heal all.
